Fetal heart rate monitor
One of the pleasant moments for a mother is hearing her fetus's heartbeat, and listening to the fetal heartbeat is also a way to reassure herself about the fetus's well-being. Usually, the mother goes to the doctor to follow up on the pregnancy and perform the necessary tests to ensure the safety and size of the fetus and its heartbeat as well. Now, a fetal heartbeat monitor is available at home to allow you to listen to your fetus's heartbeat whenever you feel like doing so.
I present to you some types of fetal heartbeat monitors:
Features of fetal heartbeat monitors:
Equipped with a monitoring unit that allows you to hear heartbeats and fetal movements such as kicking
Enables you to distinguish sounds clearly.
It has sound indicators.
Most of them are equipped with a belt that is placed around the abdomen.
Equipped with headphones to hear the heartbeat, and some include two sets of headphones.
You can record the fetal heartbeats using the device.
How to use:
Apply an appropriate amount of the examination gel to your abdomen, especially the lower abdomen area. The device needs a sufficient amount of gel to work properly,
Place the device in the middle of the lower abdomen area.
You can control the volume using the dedicated button.
Sometimes you can hear the fetal heartbeat even before the reading appears on the screen.
You can move the device to the right or left if you do not hear the fetal heartbeat in the first position.
Be patient while doing this and stay calm so that you can hear the fetal heartbeat.
Tips when using the device:
The normal heart rate is between 120-160 beats per minute. If there is a difference from these rates or if the fetal heartbeat is weak, it is recommended to visit the doctor immediately for reassurance.
If you do not hear the fetal heartbeat while feeling its movement, rest for a little while and then try again.
